Your use of this Site is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this legally binding Terms of Use Agreement. You agree to comply with these terms by accessing or using the Site. Students With Psychosis reserves the right to modify these terms at its discretion, and users are advised to review the most recent version of these terms with each visit. Your continued use of the Site implies acceptance of all the terms and conditions, including our Privacy Policy.

2. Disclaimer Statement

The Students With Psychosis Site & Online Community is intended for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice or a substitute for consultation with a physician or mental health professional. Using the Site and Online Community, users agree not to hold Students With Psychosis or its employees or officers liable for information posted by individuals or entities not associated with Students With Psychosis. The Site includes chat and discussion boards, and users agree to abide by all these Terms and Conditions when participating in discussions or chats. Students With Psychosis reserves the right to remove any messages that do not meet the outlined standards and to terminate a user’s registration for violations of these Terms and Conditions or the chat and discussion board Community Guidelines.

3. Prohibited Activities

Prohibited activities on the Site include commercial solicitation, chain letters, junk mail, “spam,” non-commercial or bulk solicitation, and content that infringes on the copyrights or rights of privacy or publicity of others. Threatening, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, profane, obscene, abusive, harmful, sexually oriented, racially offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable material is strictly prohibited. Unlawful material or material that encourages or promotes conduct constituting a criminal offense or might give rise to civil liability is not permitted. Posting content or participating in any form of discussion to commit any illegal or harmful activity is strictly prohibited.

Users agree to hold harmless Students With Psychosis and its officers, directors, employees, representatives, and volunteers from all claims arising out of or related to access or use of, or inability to access or use, this Site or the information contained in this Site or other linked websites. In no event will Students With Psychosis or the contributors of information to this Site be liable for any decision made or action taken based on such information or for any consequential, special, or similar damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Hate Speech Policy

Students With Psychosis does not condone or provide a platform for hate speech and reserves the right to delete or refuse to permit language that is found offensive. This includes any references derogatory to people of any race, class, ethnicity, culture, gender, age, profession, orientation, or any population category included in state or federal civil rights legislation. Language that incites violence or harassment of others is strictly prohibited.

6. Endorsements

Users acknowledge that the opinions and recommendations on this Site are not necessarily those of Students With Psychosis or endorsed by Students With Psychosis. Links provided on the Site to other websites are for convenience only and are not intended as an endorsement by Students With Psychosis.

7. Content Usage Policy

All information on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, photographs, video, or audio clips, is copyrighted by and proprietary to Students With Psychosis. Users may make temporary copies for browsing purposes but may not copy, reproduce, transmit, display, perform, distribute, sublicense, alter, or otherwise use the material without written consent.

8. Permissions Agreement

Once written consent is given as a signed permissions agreement, the content may be used as is (no modifications permitted) for informational, non-commercial purposes only. Any copy must include the Students With Psychosis notice and citation. Students With Psychosis have the right to revoke such authorization at any time.

9. Students With Psychosis Affiliates

Affiliates are initially exempt from obtaining written consent for using Students With Psychosis content for intended purposes. Still, Students With Psychosis may revoke this exemption at any time and for any reason.

10. Linking Your Website To Students With Psychosis

Students With Psychosis encourages and permits links to its Site that support its mission. Any text-only link must be marked “Students With Psychosis.” The link or host website may not damage the goodwill associated with Students With Psychosis’s name and trademarks or create a false appearance of association.
